I'd recommend reordering the controls on the settings screen to left-down-up-right instead of up-down-left-right, mostly to avoid confusion on the order while in-game. Aside from that, pretty good!

Found a decent number of bugs:
Sometimes bags drop and you cannot pick them up.
Moving left for a bit and then right slowly drifts you either up or down randomly (about one left-right every second).
Some enemies don't seem to give any XP (skeletons in my case, unless that's intended).

Artstyle is fantastic, but the game feels clunky and unresponsive. And the autotargetting of arrows does the player no favors, it will target enemies rather randomly, and you might end up being hit by the boss when he's one hit away from death.

There's a lot of potential, but this needed a lot of playtesting before being released.

Very valuable feedback and thanks for letting me know about those bugs! The skeletons should give XP so will look through it :)

How do you even activate the ultra? There's no controls explanation at any point...

WittGames responds:

There's a tutorial when you first start the game. The key to activate the ultra is "X". I think however I should put the controls in the game description.

Extremely broken. Fell to infinity after a few tries every time.

So much potential purely based on the gameplay premise. Would love to see a more classic "can't skip until completed" approach to the levels, and a longer list of them!

The soundtrack, by TeknoAXE, is absolutely on point. Very much like a lo-fi version of songs by M.O.O.N. or Scattle, a la Hotline Miami. Gameplay is fast paced, brutal, and unforgiving. But even being so reset-heavy, it still feels like you progress a bit further every time.

Also, the ending sequence caught me completely by surprised. Loved every second of this.

5/5, and faved. Well done StuffedWombat!

Okay, so it's Race The Sun, but worse?
Top credits to the models, FX and music, but the game concept is at best mediocre.

Solid concept! Nice art, and interesting gameplay. Sad that its replayability is none, and that it could have been longer. But it's a great concept, and one I'd love to see in a longer format. Great job!

Simplistic graphics work well in this environment, but it's got two major flaws:
-The main mechanic in not interesting enough, and it's tremendously easy if you just follow the lines.
-No music.

Other than that, design is solid and the color palette is gratifying.

This, with a bit (LITTLE bit) of polish, could be on Steam no doubt. You guys should give it a try! I'd Greenlight that for damn sure!
